We Care About Your Pets.

As pet owners, we know the responsibility and importance of caring for our pets. Therefore, we are dedicated to helping pets stay healthy and active throughout their youth and especially as they age.

GeriZyme™ with BioCell Collagen™ and OptiZinc®

This is our most advanced and complete nutritional formula for pets. Our pet supplements help with degenerative joint disease, hip dysplasia, skin conditions, joint defects, cartilage injuries, and connective tissue disorders. GeriZyme™ contains the nutritional cofactors necessary for the body to produce enzymes that reduce harmful free radicals which in turn cause degenerative joint disease.

In addition, GeriZyme™ also provides BioCell Collagen™ which is the Type II Collagen found in elastic cartilage which cushions the joints. GeriZyme™ with BioCell Collagen™ offers a more complete approach to joint health by providing Type II Collagen (the most abundant protein in cartilage) and Hyaluronic Acid (the major component of Synovial joint lubrication fluid) and Chondroitin Sulfate (shock-absorbing molecule) in a patented, molecularly optimized form.

GeriZyme™ with BioCell Collagen™ also provides OptiZinc® which is a superior bioavailable form of zinc. OptiZinc® is a patented 1:1 complex of zinc and methionine, the amino acid best absorbed by the body. In addition, OptiZinc® is the only premium zinc supplement approved by the FDA for human consumption.

Further, OptiZinc® pet supplements deliver the highest absorbable amounts of zinc into the systemic circulation to effectively prevent radical damage. Unlike other zinc supplements, OptiZinc® does not adversely affect copper absorption. Zinc, Copper, and Manganese are the major minerals and building blocks required to body produce the enzymes Superoxide Dismutase, Catalase, and Glutathionine Peroxidase, which are the body’s most important free radical scavengers.

All animals with degenerative joint disease have one thing in common, and that is high levels of free radicals in the joint and surrounding tissue. The body must have protection against free radical attack and the protection is provided by the enzyme-producing agents. OptiZinc® has been dispensed by Veterinarians in the United States since 1987.

Pros and cons of Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate pet supplements

If you search “Is Glucosamine and Chondroitin sulfate really effective?” the first thing that comes up is: Chondroitin sulfate and Glucosamine are popular supplements used to treat the pain and loss of function associated with osteoarthritis (OA).

However, most studies assessing their effectiveness show modest to no improvement at all compared with a placebo in either pain relief or joint damage. If your pet is only provided with only a couple of the so-called “Tested, proven, and researched” nutritional elements in the diet, the formula is considered incomplete if it does not provide all of the nutrients required to produce enzymes that minimize the production of free radicals and provides the correct type of Collagen.

Although there has been partial effectiveness or minimum responses with Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate supplements in the past, let’s get real. Those products are obsolete in today’s nutrition standards as they came on the market more than 20 years ago. The companies that market these products make billions of dollars from veterinarians and pet owners. None of these supplements generate results and none of the competing products are known to be a complete approach to maximum joint health.

Moreover, the complete approach to nutritional supplementation in joint health care requires a complete formula. Results are the proof and we guarantee our results. We are not aware of any other company that offers what you get in GeriZyme™ with BioCell Collagen™ and OptiZinc®.

Omegaderm-3™ with patented OptiZinc®

This is our most advanced fatty acid supplement for pets with dermatological conditions, dry skin, dry and brittle hair coats, excessive shedding, cracked paw pads, and cracked nails. Further, Omegaderm-3™ aids in the natural healing of mange after parasites have been treated and removed.

Omegaderm-3™ is a very palatable oral supplement that is easy to administer by mixing directly into your pet's food. In addition, Omegaderm-3™ provides both Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, plus essential vitamins and nutrients to ensure maximum response in the prevention and healing of dermatological conditions.

Dietary deficiencies

There are many published studies indicating that deficiencies of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids in the diet can lead to several conditions. For instance, atopic dermatitis, allergies, dandruff, hair loss, excessive shedding, and autoimmune disorders. In addition to slow wound healing, inflammation, arthritis, ligament issues, heart problems, strokes, and cancer.

Supplementation with essential fatty acids in the diet has many advantages to your pet’s health. When fed as directed, Omegaderm-3™ provides 100% of your pet’s daily minimum requirement of fatty acids. Omegaderm-3™ pet supplements also provide OptiZinc®, a unique patented 1:1 complex of Zinc Methionine, an amino acid that increases zinc absorption and acts as a powerful antioxidant.

Studies

According to studies conducted by the late Dr. Lucille Hurley at UC Davis, research has indicated that all animals diagnosed and tested for dermatological conditions have one thing in common, and that is a deficiency of zinc in the diet. Other studies indicate that a deficiency of zinc in the diet also causes oxidative damage to proteins, lipids, and DNA. Vitamin A metabolism is also affected by even marginal zinc deficiency.

A zinc deficiency may manifest itself as eczema (inflammation of the skin characterized by itchiness, red skin blotches, and rash), xerosis (dry, scaling skin), Seborrheic Dermatitis (scaly, flaky, itchy, and red skin), or Alopecia (thin or sparse hair). There may also be impaired wound healing which slows the recovery to healthy skin, hair coat, nails, and paws.

Zinc supplementation

Not all zinc supplements are the same. Zinc is known to adversely affect copper levels, and copper is required to build the enzymes to protect healthy cells from destruction by harmful free radicals. Nothing compares to OptiZinc® , the patented form of Zinc Methionine that does not adversely affect copper levels. OptiZinc® is superior to Zinc Orotate and all other forms of zinc. Further, OptiZinc® is the only type of zinc that is approved for human consumption. Omegaderm-3™ with patented OptiZinc® has been dispensed by Veterinarians in the United States since 1987.
